NetEntertainment

NetEntertainment is a large Scandinavian based gaming company who’ve existed in various forms over the last 45 years. Composed of a number of casino companies who pooled their resources to deal with the changes that technology has bought to the industry, they’ve managed to broker strength in numbers, coming up with a development house that has been able to mix it up with some of the big players in the game in recent years.

The real big break for Net Entertainments came in 2010 when they released their Platinum slot range. These were the first slots to take advantage of the Flash 11 technology, weaving together brilliant graphics with some of the most advanced reel play systems the web has ever seen.

Slots like Jack and the Beanstalk and Robin Hood – Shifting Riches bought re spin systems to the table that had never been seen before and Gonzo’s Quest, the flagship title for the range, took the much loved cascading mechanism and gave it a whole new lease of life.

These games quickly became the standard that all other slots were judged by, forcing many of their rivals to raise their values.

One of Net Entertainment’s biggest successes over the last ten years has to be the introduction of their super progressive slot machine, Mega Fortune. This game, similar in style to Cryptologic’s Millionaire’s Club uses smooth, Miami styled themes together with a bonus reel system where the game’s big prize can be one.

This machine currently holds the record for the biggest ever single casino win paid out to date – over 11.7 million Euros – smashing the previous record held by Microgaming’s Mega Moolah.

It’s not just top end slot machines that have come out of the Net Entertainment studios. These guys have also produced a large number of good quality slots – including such hits as Piggy Riches and Hall of the Gods, another progressive title that’s been in the news for a 4 million Euro prize won by a Scottish rig worker from the NetEntertainment powered site, BetVictor.

Their excellent selection of slot machines is backed up by a number of green baize table games, including many different Roulette and Blackjack variants. This is a casino company who have taken their knowledge and skill acquired in their land based operations and applied it with devastating force to all aspects of their electronic gaming.

Never one to shy away from new developments within the industry Net Entertainment are now modifying many of their most popular Platinum slots to allow them to be played on Smart-Phones. They’re calling this new selection of games the Touch range, which will bring players the same high quality visual and audio experience that they’re used to from the web based versions of these titles.

What’s next for NetEntertainment? Well, we’re currently seeing a constant stream of top notch slots from their development studios. In 2013, games like Space War and Eggomatic wowed online casino punters with their incredibly innovative game-play systems.

These guys are really prepared to take the slot machine format and push it to the limits – if there’s one company out there who could possibly make a game that could revolutionise the entire industry, then you’d put money on it being NetEntertainment.
